Is ISUReplayFS compatible with Windows® Vista?

We are sorry for any inconvenience, but the current version of ISUReplayFS is incompatible with Windows® Vista.

When is factor for segment (Edit segment dialog) needed in the new system?

In the previous system version, factor for the Short Program was 0.5, while the factor for Free Skating was 1.0.

In the New Judging System, this value is preset to 1 for both segments (incl. CD, OD, FD). That is the default value for the created segment.

This field only needs to be changed, if there are two (2) Compulsory Dances in the segment. Set the segment factor for both CDs to 0.5.

Which areas can be configured by the user?

  • Scale of Values Program
  • Components to be included
  • Program Component factors
  • Deductions

Is the score (GOE) given by the Referee, Technical Controller, Technical Specialist etc. included when the results are calculated or is it only Judge No. 1 to Judge No. 12 who are included?

Only the marks (GOE) of Judges 1 - 10 are used for the calculation. If the referee enters marks, they are not used for the calculation. All of the 10 judges are used for the calculation. 11 and 12 are only used for the ISU Championships.

Is it possible to define new elements in the SOV table that have base values and step values to 2 decimal places? For example, to define an element as: ElemX +1.25 +1.0 +.75 4.33 -.67 -1.03 -1.26

You can define new elements. Note that only one decimal place is allowed for both the base and the GOE value.

Which Compulsory Dance elements (incl. base value and GOE) are already available in the master database?

The master database of ISUCal contains the elements (including base value and GOE) of the following Compulsory Dances. Data are taken from the Ice Dance regulations 19. August 2004.

  • Austrian Waltz
  • Ravensburger Waltz
  • Yankee Polka
  • Midnight Blues
  • Starlight Waltz
  • Golden Waltz
  • Rhumba
  • Cha Cha Congelato
  • Argentine Tango
  • Blues
  • Fourteen Step
  • Foxtrott
  • Rocker Foxtrott
  • European Waltz
  • Viennese Waltz
  • Paso Doble
  • Silver Samba
  • Tango

The following dances are listed in the rules but not entered in the database yet:

The software is throwing out 2 jump elements 2Lz and 1A instead of just the 2Lz, however if I enter 1A and then 2Lz it just throws the Lz out. What is wrong?

According to the rules of the well-balanced program, Skaters are allowed to perform 7 jumps. One of the 7 must be an Axel-type jump.

  • 1. 2Lz
  • 2. 2F
  • 3. 2Lo
  • 4. 1S
  • 5. 2T
  • 6. 2F
  • 7. 2Lz*
  • 8. 1A* The double Lutz is the 7th jump element. As the required Axel jump was not performed within the 7 elements, the Lutz is invalid and gets the asterisk. The skater performed the Axel next. As this is the 8th jump element and only 7 are allowed, the Axel is invalid. This is the way the verification is implemented and applied in all ISU events.
